In rescuing this antique reclaimed lumber, we are helping to conserve the forest and invaluable stands of old growth timber. This creates a wood door with a history all its own. Gain LEED or Green Building Points with these reclaimed wood doors, which are FSC Recycled Chain of Custody Certified. Standard Features: Most materials used in the manufacturing of each door are from reclaimed Douglas Fir beams, joists and timbers. Reclaimed glue lam beams are sliced for the core of the stiles and rails for engineered stability, and overlaid with rediscovered wood. Each panel plank is glued to a core for integrity and to eliminate see-through at the splits, knots and other natural characteristics. Doors are sanded, ready for finishing.
