 friends Matt Blank and Tony Poeck dreamt of a successful future with a green landscaping business. Matt and Tony both shared a passion for plants, environmental sustainability and landscape design. They got their start with a handful of tools, a shovel, a lawn mower and the support of a few local neighbors who believed in their vision. Our Earth Friendly Practices entail: * Driving a BioDiesel truck which greatly reduces our emissions and decreases reliance on petroleum. * Choosing plants that minimize water use, are appropriate for their location and are non-invasive. * Using eco-friendly and high quality irrigation materials. These materials include brass valves and manifolds, Drip Irrigation, and PVC alternatives. * Using organic fertilizers and amendments as well as low emissions power equipment. * Supporting local nurseries and supply stores to encourage responsible commerce |
