The transformation of trees into building materials like wood, cardboard and paper cannot be reversed. However, the building materials out of which we construct homes can be utilized by 1. Reusing/Salvage 2. Redistribution 3. Refurbishing usable items 4. Recycling 5. Retrofitting Recycling is the process by which bulk and broken materials are transformed into usable products. There are over 12,000 products made from paper alone and our task is to support the redistribution process. If every homeowner could recycle 85% of their home prior to building new, the tax benefits alone would provide for significant savings.
